Launched in 1992, Deko Lounge and Club Abyss have collectively been pushing boundaries and setting standards… shaping New Jersey nightlife for almost 20 years. Although Club Abyss closed it’s doors in 2010, Deko Lounge continues to rock the tri-state area.
From the beginning they have delivered an innovative and progressive clubbing experience introducing New Jersey to the world’s freshest dance, hiphop, electronic, house, latin and r&b sounds, establishing themselves as groundbreaking nightclub pioneers.
Deko Lounge and Club Abyss have played host to hundreds of top name deejays, artists and celebrities… Tiesto, Erick Morillo, Diddy, the late DJ AM, John Legend, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Usher, Travis Barker, Jazzy Jeff, Pink, Victor Calderone, Drake, Carmen Electra, Funkmaster Flex, Samantha Ronson, Kid Cudi, Roger Sanchez, Jessica Simpson, Grandmaster Flash, Ferry Corsten… the list goes on.
Both venues have repeatedly been awarded the peoples choice “Best Place To Dance” by The Home News and Tribune of New Jersey. Deko Lounge was the proud recipient of the Club World Awards “Nightclub Stalker” at the 2009 Winter Music Conference in South Beach Miami as well as both nightclubs are recipients of Nightclub and Bars 2010 Top 100 nightclubs in the United States.
